Naoko Stoop’s illustration, Moon Wabi-Sabi, is lovingly reproduced here for our Mini Notebook. Her sweetly rendered collages are made with natural materials, mixed with light watercolours and hand-drawn lines. She represents the natural world with a sweet sentimental style.

Naoko Stoop’s love of drawing began when she was a young child growing up in Japan. Naoko now lives and creates in Brooklyn, New York. She uses found materials including plywood and brown paper bags as her canvas.
