All the changes that occurred in art at the end of the 19th century were also reflected in the so-called minor arts, touching everyday lives: clothing, decor, design and architecture. Building on the work of Arts & Crafts, a new style emerged - Liberty - featuring organic forms and curved lines. The designs in this book, also included - free of royalties - on the accompanying DVD, capture the Liberty aesthetic perfectly.

Vincenzo Sguera, an Italian architect, has been working in the field of design, fashion, textiles and accessories, directing several creative studios and developing products for many companies at an international level since 1977. In 2003 he founded Arkivia Books and since then has produced many design books as both an author and a publisher.
