New outstanding acquisitions and donations have now given rise to a fourth volume. The selected works are impressive examples of modern studio ceramics, objects situated between purposeful vessel and autonomous sculpture. With a multifaceted wealth of forms and surfaces, the works enter into an aesthetic dialogue that explores the diverse possibilities of artistic production within this field. This volume is characterised by additional selected works on paper by ceramic artists, which document the range of artistic resources within their craft.
