Based in Constance and Berlin, the practice founded by Martin Bächle and Karin Meid-Bächle in 2014 creates architecture that is characterised by carefully balanced, intelligent concepts developed through building culture, yet remaining independent and engaging with the realities of their residents’ lives. Their award-winning projects include the Josefine Kramer House children’s and family centre in Tettnang (2014), the Bezner Tower housing in Ravensburg, completed in 2020, and the new fire station and day care centre in Waldshut (2023).<\/p>\n
