Founded by film producer George Lucas and his wife Mellody Hobson, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles is devoted to the past, present, and future of visual storytelling. Its sculptural building, designed by Ma Yansong of architecture firm MAD, appears to hover above the landscape: a monumental, fluid form whose shape invites the imagination.
