The multifaceted American artist William Wegman (born in 1943) has been exploring inter-species relationships since the 1970s and, together with his dogs—all Weimaraners—has created a substantial body of photographic and video works featuring them. Man Ray, his first companion, followed by Fay Ray and their many descendants, have been by his side to this day.
