Hosted by Miette Culinary Studio in New York this past Friday, participants prepared a selection of iconic recipes by well-known chefs who were influenced by the renowned French restaurant in Mont-Saint-Michel. The results were delicious!









Book launch: Arms & Armour of India, Nepal & Sri Lanka, New York, 15 March 2019

A lecture and book launch for the new title, ‘Arms & Armour of India, Nepal & Sri Lanka: Types, Decoration and Symbolism’ by Dr. Ravinder Reddy, will take place on the evening of Friday 15 March 2019, during Asian Week in New York City.

This event is being hosted by Hali Publications, ACC Art Books and Runjeet Singh, the Warwickshire based dealer and specialist in arms and armour from the East, at the gallery where his exhibition, Treasures from Asian Armories will be held, 13 - 23 March 2019.

The book - written by the American psychiatrist, author, teacher and collector, and published by Hali Publications - is intended for anyone interested in arms and armour of the South Asian region: antique dealers, museums, the general art market, educators, and of course, collectors. Extensively illustrated, with over 800 images and maps, its almost 400 pages provide an overview of types of arms and armour, their geographical and historical context, decoration and methods of adornment, as well as their iconographic and religious symbology.
