The urban transformation of San Francisco is featured in a+u 18:04 with guest editor Craig W. Hartman, SOM’s Senior Consulting Design Partner in San Francisco. The issue examines the transformation of the area centered on Transbay Transit Center as a reaction to population growth in the urban center. The mixed development combines public transportation, housings, offices, cultural and green spaces to create a new neighborhood.
