About the Author
Herman Daems is emeritus professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management of K.U. Leuven, and is the Chairman of the Board at both K.U. Leuven and at BNP Paribas Fortis. He taught at the Harvard Business School and IESE in Barcelona. He has chaired the Belgian Corporate Governance Committee which sets the governance code for boards of listed companies in Belgium.
