While providing a survey of his entire decades-long career, it focuses in particular on the last twelve years.<\/p>\n<p>A range of texts and high-quality reproductions illuminate Alexander&rsquo;s profound connection to the natural world, a relationship forged in his childhood in the bayous and woods of East Texas, and enriched by his subsequent immersion in various traditions of landscape painting, from Monet to the Hudson River School painters.
