- A beautifully produced collector’s edition – three thematically distinct photobooks, Alternative Facts, Rock and Sky Stories, presented together in a boxed set
Tinos Trilogy is a three-volume boxed set of photobooks by Clive Frost, featuring images made in Tinos, a Greek island in the Cyclades complex in the Aegean Sea. Alternative Facts, Rock, and Sky Stories comprise an extensive collection of images made between 2018 and 2026. Almost 240 photographs explore Tinos’s unique character and Frost’s relationship with the island, a place he called home for seven years.
Alternative Facts includes an essay by Makis Andronopoulos, a writer and journalist living in Tinos and Athens, which investigates the environmental, economic, and socio-political factors that shape the island. Rock features an essay by writer, journalist, climber, and former geologist Evan Howell describing Tinos in relation to the granite and marble that are built into the fabric of the island’s dynamic landscapes, sculpture, and architecture. And in Sky Stories, Clive Frost writes movingly about the effects of tourism and over-development on Tinos.
