” …an intriguing look at what is the relatively recent past, and a great one for nostalgia – especially if you’ve ever paid a visit to the island yourself for a week of carefree abandon.” —  Amateur Photographer

“The photographs in Dean’s new book ‘Back in Ibiza 1998 – 2003’, taken in the heat of many magic moments, capture the golden age of happy, all-in-it-together, 24 hour party people, bacchanalian excess, and sunkissed beach life…” — Bureau of Lost Culture Podcast

“…The photos come fast and furious, without captions, encouraging the readers to figure it out for themselves — just as they would have to in real life if this all was happening in front of them.” — CNN

Dean Chalkley has been taking compelling cultural photographs since the mid 1990s and his work with the likes of Oasis, Idris Elba and Amy Winehouse is widely celebrated.

At the tail end of the ’90s, Chalkley found himself in Ibiza, the capital of the clubbing world. For many, the turn of the millennium represents the peak of club life, when clubbers would lose themselves for days in the often-surreal abandon of their favorite Spanish party haven. Working for Mixmag, the biggest dance-music magazine in the world, Chalkley amassed a vast archive of images from this unrivaled golden era in the island’s near-history.
Back in Ibiza 1998 – 2003 offers a thrilling deep-dive through those images, illustrating the unfiltered and sometimes unhinged club scene from a world before Snapchat and TikTok reels. This unique collection is essential viewing for partygoers and clubbing fans, a joy to behold, and a nostalgic reminder of what a real party can look like.

“Photographer Martyn Goddard reveals what it was like to shadow Blondie on the cusp of superstardom in 1978.” — Uncut Magazine

“Thus, this work is more than a scrapbook; it’s a time capsule that revives an era of danger, glamour, and creative revolution. And it’s also the perfect excuse to revisit the Blondie phenomenon, the art of photographing rock stars, and why, perhaps, bands aren’t “made” like they used to be.” — GQ Mexico

“Goddard’s lens doesn’t merely document Blondie’s rise; it captures a turning point in music and visual culture.” — Louder Than War

“…a handsome book.” — BBC’s Robert Elms Show

“… More than nostalgia, the book reflects Goddard’s ability to balance artistry and access—creating images that feel as intimate as they are electric.” — The Candid Frame Podcast

Blondie in Camera 1978 is richly illustrated with photographer Martyn Goddard’s most famous images of Blondie. Taken during their breakthrough year, these pictures have graced magazines, newspapers, promotional campaigns, posters and even the ‘Picture This’ single cover and the Best of Blondie album cover.

Blondie’s rise to the mainstream surface punctuated the late ’70s with a raft of unforgettable New Wave hits. The genre-mashing classic ‘Heart of Glass’ along with the likes of ‘Hanging on a Telephone’ and ‘Picture This’ were as zesty and fresh-faced as the young band members, who soon found superstardom as their singles landed and the strength of their attitude began to resonate. When Goddard traveled to New York in ’78 with an assignment to photograph lead-singer Debbie Harry, he couldn’t have imagined that Blondie’s songs and his images would soon become permanent fixtures on the cultural landscape.

This is the ultimate treasure trove for fans of one of the world’s biggest bands.

Science and Art are both manifestations of beauty and creativity. As mankind has evolved and as science has progressed, artistic creations by humans have become more abstract-like mathematics, which is the abstraction of all sciences. The authors of this unusual work postulate some critical ideas on science, art and aesthetics, and establish that we need both, a scientific temper and the temper of art.

The eight theses that relate to science and art, and their rationale presented in this book are a culmination of observations, conversations, readings, ideas exchanged, and thoughts that span a journey of six decades. The accompanying DVD is a reproduction of two shows held in Hyderabad of MF Husain’s 25 paintings on some of the most important events of the last century with their description as written by Bhargava. The CD records the music Susumo Ohno, an American geneticist, created by converting the language of DNA into the language of music.

The work of Alejandra Cisneros marks a significant departure from the tropical ‘Bali-style’ villa design popularised in the past two decades and is a refreshing antidote to the anodyne villas invading Bali’s centuries-old rice terraces. In Seen | Unseen, Alej shares her insights on reimagining traditional homes for 21st-century lifestyles in today’s fragile environments. She reveals the thinking behind her designs, and her heart-centred process of co-creation a “conspiracy of client, joglo, land, Balinese craftsmanship, and culture.” She also acknowledges the influence of Tri Hita Karana, the Balinese concept of cosmological balance that governs their relationship with people, the environment and the Creator. This beautifully illustrated book focuses on her whimsical, exciting homes – fanciful yet practical, designed for potters and poets, artists and entrepreneurs alike hailing from North and South America, Europe and Asia. Crafted almost entirely from antique teakwood, traditional materials, and showcasing joyful design ideas, each home merges seamlessly with the landscape. Alej curates unique, mould-breaking homes that create a new way of living that is at one with nature in the tropics. Her canvas is the Bali landscape; her paints are Java’s traditional teakwood joglos and Indonesia’s myriad natural materials; her brushes are the Balinese craftspeople that bring her vision to reality.

“It’s very hard for me to accept that Sukita-san has been snapping away at me since 1972, but that really is the case. I suspect that it’s because whenever he’s asked me to do a session, I conjure up in my mind’s eye the sweet, creative and big-hearted man who has always made these potentially tedious affairs so relaxed and painless. May he click into eternity.” – David Bowie

For Sukita, the creative mastermind behind the iconic cover for David Bowie’s album ‘Heroes’, photography is an expression of a ‘fundamental secret’ shared between artists: a spiritual communication that transcends the minutiae of language. Born and raised in Kyushu, Japan, Sukita’s reverence of American and Western counter-culture lured him to New York and London. He immersed himself in the western music scene which he loved, while his relaxed photo sessions endeared him to many celebrity figures, including David Bowie and Iggy Pop (with both of whom Sukita had a 40-year long professional relationship), Marc Bolan, and Japanese musician Hotei, best known for his work on the Kill Bill soundtrack. His work spans the early US and UK seventies rock scene, the London punk-rock era to the present crop of emerging Japanese rock artists.

This photo book is the first time the photographer has collaborated on a major retrospective of his career and includes some of his early documentary work and his rarely-seen travel and street photography. It introduces the artist through two essays that explore his place within the wider context of both Western and Japanese photography, presented alongside the many iconic shots of both Western and Japanese artists that earned him his eternal reputation.

“I’m incredibly lucky to have an environment where I feel comfortable being myself” – Harry Styles.

Stepping bravely into the cyclone of 21st-century fashions, Harry Styles is more than weathering the storm. Whether he’s breaking the internet with his $7.99 frog-eyed yellow bucket hat or a pair of black fishnets, or fronting cult magazine The Beauty Papers, as he did in March 2021, Hazza’s sparkle knows no boundaries.

Gucci met Styles in 2014, and there was instant chemistry. According to designer Alessandro Michele, Harry is ‘a young Greek God with the attitude of James Dean and a little bit of Mick Jagger’ – and that effortless superstardom certainly radiates from the photos in this collection, which document the heart of Harry’s wardrobe, both on-stage and off.

Part fashion history lesson, pulling references from the rock and roll greats of the past, and part innovation, Harry’s style pays homage to Kurt Cobain and Marc Bolan, Prince and Little Richard, while developing into something authentic and entirely his own. This chic book fizzles with facts about Harry’s styling choices, presenting the star’s most revered looks alongside pictures that trace the roots of each design. With quotes from key designers, this is the perfect gift for any fan.

“…unparalleled behind-the-scenes glimpse into life on the road with Duran Duran.” — Classic Pop

“Denis got to see a different side of the machine – he saw the cogs going around, and there were times when that wasn’t popular with everybody … Once we saw the photographs, however, we were able to appreciate the potency of it.”
Simon Le Bon

With chart hits charts like ‘Girls on Film’, ‘Hungry like a Wolf’, ‘Rio’ and ‘The Reflex’ and pioneering music videos, Duran Duran cemented their place as indisputable icons of the ’80s New Romantic music scene. Having sold over 100 million records, they continue to be one of the UK’s most popular bands. Eternally evolving, always innovating, their fanbase spans the globe.

His unprecedented access to the band gives the Careless Memories book an insight into the lives of Simon, Nick, John, Roger and Andy as they won hearts around the world. It documents the excitement of the shows and the hysteria and mayhem that surrounded them. For Duran Duran fans, Careless Memories is a 224 page backstage pass that captures the band at the peak of their powers and their fame.

‘..the news that Baritone Richard Suart has produced an account of Ko-Ko’s Little Lists will be music to your ears. Beginning with a brief history of The Mikado, this hearty collaboration focuses on the way contemporary politics and society are freshly lampooned in each season’s book’ – Sunday Telegraph

Richard Suart, heir to the great Gilbert and Sullivan singers of the past, has made the role of KoKo, Lord High Executioner, his own. Over the last 20 years his topical version of the Little List song has become a focus of audience expectation and hilarity. In this book, he looks back over the Lists that have raised such laughter at the Coliseum and at the history of this immensely malleable song, taking in previous performers such as George Grossmith, Martyn Green, Groucho Marx, Frankie Howerd and Eric Idle – not to mention poets as varied as John Hollander and Tim Rice. Illustrated with 56 colour and 45 black & white illustrations, many never previously reproduced, this is a delightful biography of one of the most entertaining songs in the English language.

“This is the perfect present for all the ‘Swifties’ out there. “ — Fashion Mommy

Beyoncé is a force of nature. Her iconic songs, viral dance moves and daring acts of defiance are always delivered in sensational style. In the words of fashion legend Thierry Mugler, she represents ‘the duality between being a woman and a warrior’. Strutting and sashaying in Valentino leopard-print catsuits and her signature thigh-high boots, Queen B is more than just a glamor puss extraordinaire. She’s a leader and an inspiration. Messages of self-empowerment and inner strength define her wardrobe as much as they electrify her songs. Her fashion connoisseurship has led to partnerships with numerous big names. Versace, Bottega, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton are just a few of the brands saluted in her 2022 Renaissance album, and Anna Wintour even handed Bey creative control of the September 2018 issue of American Vogue. Perfect for fans and fashionistas, Beyoncé and the Clothes She Wears charts her sartorial journey, from Destiny’s Child to the present day, in glorious visual detail.

“Those looking to further explore the Monroe mystique can delve into “Marilyn Monroe Style,” (ACC Art Books) by Terry Newman.” — WWD

“If you thought you knew everything there was to know about Marilyn Monroe think again. Terry Newman is a masterful writer with a forensically investigative style, revealing so much more about Monroe’s role as a fashion influencer than the bombshell sex goddess in shimmering sequins, that became shorthand for her image.” — Forbes

“Eternally stylish…How Marilyn Monroe continues to influence fashion today.” — Tempus Magazine

Marilyn Monroe’s world was the stuff of fairy-tale – the orphan who conquered Hollywood and hailed as the most beautiful woman in the world before her untimely death in 1962.

Marilyn Monroe Style celebrates Marilyn’s impact on fashion by revealing the influence of her many iconic looks. Her wardrobe encompassed sensual femininity as well as low-key minimalism. Outfits span from shimmering showpieces such as the Jean Louis gown worn to serenade JFK on his birthday, to Pucci slacks and cats-eye spectacles.

Born Norma Jeane Mortensen, whenever she ‘became’ Marilyn, she mesmerized onlookers with showstopping outfits that helped make her a legend, yet throughout her life the clothes she wore represented many ways of being a woman.

Written by Terry Newman – the bestselling author of Taylor Swift and the Clothes She Wears – this book tells the story of Marilyn’s life through clothes and is essential reading for Marilyn Monroe fans everywhere.

Published in collaboration with the Estate of Marilyn Monroe.

“…one of the most stunning and possibly heaviest books in the Bowie canon.” — God Is In The TV

“His images are not just records, they are living archives, fragments of history with a capital H…He doesn’t just show; he frames, builds, lights without trickery, but with a sense of rhythm that feels almost musical.” — Eye of Photography

“The result is a rare, career-spanning portrait of the chameleonic rock star, featuring never-before-seen images and candid recollections from a man who knew Bowie as both icon and friend. It’s also a record of proximity: of what it means to move through life alongside an artist who refused to repeat himself.” — Interview magazine

“A book of images by David Bowie’s official tour photographer is every bit as mesmerising as you’d imagine.” —Loupe Magazine

Official photographer to music legend David Bowie, Denis O’Regan presents a personal edit from his unrivalled collection of photographs. Accompanying Bowie on two world tours and enjoying a decades-long relationship with the star, no one photographed Bowie more than Denis O’Regan. As Bowie himself once remarked, ‘Denis, Rock ‘n’ Roll is in your blood’.

From the door of Olympic Studios, where Bowie recorded Diamond Dogs in 1974, to live stadium shows in the 1990s, Denis’s full archive is at last opened and many unseen images revealed for the first time. David Bowie by Denis O’Regan tells Bowie’s musical story in pictures, with O’Regan’s own words relaying his experience of documenting that incredible journey.

Author of the hugely successful Ricochet: David Bowie 1983 (Particular Books, 2018), O’Regan has toured with the biggest stars from The Rolling Stones and Queen to Pink Floyd and Duran Duran, to name a few. But it is his photographs of David Bowie, taken over two decades at over 200 concerts worldwide, that he is best known for. David Bowie the showman and David behind-the scenes, O’Regan has captured it all in this showcase of one of the world’s most talented performers.

Graphic Design of Scheld’Apen is a colorful and punchy poster archive book; a shining star for anyone who loves typography, graphic design, drawing and creative archive material.

Two artists / musicians from Antwerp worked together for two years, coordinating the poster archive of a former music and art venue in Antwerp called Scheld’Apen, an underground, rough and raw artist center where many creatives came together in the late 1990s and early 2000s. For each event, a fantastically cool and experimental poster was made and thanks to Benny and Bent, we have a publication that brings this energetic and legendary archive together.

“I draw every day. Every morning begins with a sketch. Drawing and sculpting are closely related activities. I am a drawer in everything I do.”

Drawing First by Peter Jacquemyn shows his sketches, drawings and sculptures from recent years, in which he depicts birds and people: loved ones and the injured, dancers and the dead, rebels and the homeless. He brings them to life on paper with a few strokes of a pen or frees them from tree trunks with a chainsaw. Spontaneous and razor sharp. Apparently brutal, at the same time vulnerable and playful with his intuition as a compass.

Text in English and Dutch.

In this brand new and thoroughly revised edition of the bestselling London city guide author Tom Greig not only shares a lot of new secrets, he also included two outside-the-box city walks: an ideal way to explore a part of the city in a day. Many of the new addresses in this guide are in East-London, an area Tom has explored more intensely since the first publication of The 500 Hidden Secrets of London in 2017.

Of course the best hidden secrets in the rest of the city are still included as well, such as the bakery on Brick Lane that’s open 24-hours and that’s famous for its salt-beef bagels; the only modernist house open to the public; the historic church where you can hear avant-garde electronic music; or the art deco car park that hosts art installations and fashion shows. The book contains 500 places and details that few people know, making it the perfect guide for visitors who want to avoid the usual tourist spots and for residents who are keen to track down the city’s best-kept secrets.

Birmingham (UK) born and based Ben Sadler’s colorful painted portraits of imaginary people are full of personality, eclectic states of mind, and varying degrees of intrigue. They are also sometimes evocative, emotive, and amusing. The publication features two bodies of work: You and I (2024) and Exclamations! (2023), both of which present small paintings corresponding to each letter of the alphabet (though the letters U and I are curiously missing from the series You and I). The starting point was the idea of visitors to an imaginary exhibition––who are they, what kinds of people are they, and what thoughts are going through their minds? Such questions are explored in celebrated Birmingham-based author Catherine O’Flynn’s text commissioned for the publication, along with a foreword by Deborah Kermode, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of Midlands Arts Centre (MAC), Birmingham, and an interview by London-based creative coach, podcaster, and public speaker Ceri Hand.
