About the Author
Karen Celis is Research Professor at the Department of Political Science and co-director of RHEA (Centre of Expertise on Gender, Diversity and Intersectionality) at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. She is co-editor of The Oxford Handbook on Gender and Politics (Oxford University Press, 2013), Gender, Conservatism and Representation (ECPR Press, 2015), and of the book series Gender and Comparative Politics (Routledge). Eline Severs is Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Political Science at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. She is affiliated to the research programme Evaluating Democratic Governance in Europe and RHEA.  Alison E. Woodward is Emerita Research Professor at the Institute for European Studies at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, and a founding member of RHEA. She is a member of the Standing Committees on Social Sciences of the European Science Foundation and Science Europe. Liselotte Vandenbussche is Lecturer and Postdoctoral Researcher at Artevelde University College Ghent, Belgium. She is general editor of DiGeSt, Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies.
