Rome celebrates the centenary of Pasolini’s birth

For the centenary of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s birth, the Gallerie Nazionali Barberini Corsini, the Fondazione MAXXI and the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo of Rome have planned a coordinated project aimed at celebrating the poet. “Everything is Holy” is a celebration of this contemporary “prophet” through the works of several contemporary artists, evoking Pasolini’s political and social engagement through his art. This is a specific call, emphasizing what Pasolini considered “holy”: the conflict between the archaic, religious world and the hero of a rational, bourgeoise, secular, neo-capitalist world.
