Sven Drühl “Die Aufregung II – 20 years later”

Starting in November, only more recent works by the Berlin artist Sven Drühl will be presented, his landscape paintings in combination with individual sculptures for the first time. For a long time now, Sven Drühl has been using the rich stock of his image archive of paintings, drawings, photographs and graphic works from all eras, from Japanese woodcuts from the 1930s, from works by contemporary artists, from carpet samples and other sources from the Internet .

He extracts individual image fragments from this “raw material” from the spatial and temporal context of the templates and varies and assembles them into ever new constellations.
