    Full Description

Marilyn Monroe to Muhammad Ali. Cher to Chappell Roan. The Beatles to Banksy. Over the past 20 years, Julien’s Auctions has auctioned countless unique objects owned by icons of stage, sport, screen and song to collectors worldwide. Today, it’s an auction house like no other, built from scratch by fans, for fans. This commemorative book explores its story, from small start-up with big hopes, to an established global brand to the stars. With expert essays, an in-depth candid conversation with eco-founders Darren Julien and Martin Nolan, and photographs of hundreds of items sold over the years, this is a joyous, kaleidoscopic celebration of pop culture. Featuring some of Julien’s Auctions’ record-smashing highlights — Marilyn’s Happy Birthday Mr. President gown, John Lennon’s Gibson guitar, Kurt Cobain’s cardigan and Princess Diana’s exquisite dresses — Pop Culture presents a uniquely desirable chronicle of celebrity in the 21st century.
