The CURVES team thought they knew England and Wales well—it would be a routine trip, or so they assumed. But as things often go, their preconceived notions were soon shaken; around every corner, they encountered unexpected perspectives and people they hadn’t anticipated. Back from the island, the team—led by photographer Stefan Bogner—remains in a state of awe. Tea, scones, and a few sheep? Yes, those are there, too. The Route: From the Scottish Border to Plymouth.

This time, the journey begins far to the north, just shy of the Scottish border. The breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District, the North Pennines, and the Yorkshire Dales provide a magnificent start. Passing Liverpool and Manchester, the route heads toward Wales, where Snowdonia serves as another major highlight. After stops in Bristol and St. Ives, the journey concludes in Plymouth.
