About the Author
Jake Rajs is a New York-based photographer with a career that spans over 30 years. He specialises in commercial and art photography and is best known for stunning and timeless architectural and landscape imagery. He has over fifteen art books currently in print, and his photography has been featured in thousands of publications, including
Time, Life, Newsweek, The New York Times, Esquire, Town & Country, Travel & Leisure, New York, Men's Health and
National Geographic. His commercial work includes award winning, global campaigns for clients such as American Express, Nike, AT&T, Ford, Honeywell and the US Army.
Francis Morrone is an author, arts critic, newspaper columnist, literary historian, lecturer, and teacher. His books include
An Architectural Guidebook to Brooklyn, and
An Architectural Guidebook to New York City. Morrone wrote the weekly column
Abroad in New York, on New York buildings and history, for the
New York Sun. He teaches at New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He also regularly leads architectural walking tours of New York City for the Municipal Art Society of New York.
