    About the Author

    A motorsport journalist for more than twenty years, Alain Pernot travels to racing circuits around the world to give readers insight into both the achievements and behind-the-scenes world of a sport that is as complex as it is fascinating. Already the author of several books dedicated to the history of Formula One, he also contributed to the narratives accompanying DPPI’s images in the books Car Racing 1968, Car Racing 1969, and Car Racing 1970. He also collaborates with Cercle d’Art on the The Art of Endurance collection, of which two volumes were already published in 2024 and 2025.
