A lavishly produced art-book filled with photography documenting an exchange between five Moroccan artists/designers and four Qatar-based artists/designers, who visited each other’s countries, immersing themselves in the traditional crafts before returning to their own studios to produce a work or works inspired by what they had seen. The exchange culminated in an exhibition in Doha in December 2024 entitled Crafting Design Futures, which was held as part of the Design Doha Residency programme and year of Culture 2024 Qatar-Morocco, under the umbrella of Qatar Museums. Preface by film director and photographer Tala Hadid.
