About the Author

Kazi Khaleed Ashraf is an architect and architectural and cultural historian. He has taught in the US for over 25 years, at the University of Hawaii, University of Pennsylvania, and Temple University, and currently directs the Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements in Dhaka. He has numerous publications.
