About the Author

Professor Edvard Vasilievich Rtveladze is a Doctor of Historical Sciences and an academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Heaving graduated from Tashkent State University with a degree in history and archaeology, he was head of the Institute of Art Criticism at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan from 1985 to 2009 and has published widely.
