    • Thomas Elliott: Origins features a selection of residential and workplace projects by Thomas Elliott with PAI. It is presented as an architectural photography book, showcasing special moments of their recent projects in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the United States
    • Many of the physical and sensorial qualities that shape architecture and design are also those that compose a photograph. Elliott captures these qualities in his images, as well the materials, craftsmanship, lighting, outdoor connections, and contemporary artworks and sculptures
    • The introduction includes a selection of Elliott’s personal photography and sketches. Short texts throughout the book detail Elliott and PAI’s design approach, as well as the design of specific buildings and spaces
    • As PAI celebrates its fortieth anniversary in 2026, co-founder Lanny Ridjab looks back to the beginnings of PAI and its evolution over the past four decades
    • Thomas Elliott: Origins is the third volume in a collection of monographs by Thomas Elliott with PAI. It follows Thomas Elliott: Path of Discovery (2014) and Thomas Elliott: Directions (2024), all by The Images Publishing Group. These volumes also include projects in Singapore, Shanghai, and China
    • This vibrant plum-colored casebound edition is finished with foil stamping and a dust jacket. The interior pages, printed on high quality matt paper, have been designed to reflect Elliott’s selected architectural moments
    Full Description

Everything has an origin—a point where it begins and takes shape. As an architect, designer, and photographer, Thomas Elliott describes how he visualises architectural spaces through the imagined frame of a photograph, and the essential ideas that underscore his approach to design and give form to PAI’s architecture and interiors.
While the architecture itself is alive and dynamic, ever-changing with the light and the people who inhabit the space, the photographs in this collection capture only a moment in time and are testament to what Elliott, with PAI, envisioned.
Thomas Elliott: Origins showcases special moments of Elliott and PAI’s recent residential and workplace projects. Presented as an architectural photography book, this superb publication will appeal to architecture and design aficionados, photography enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the creation of beautiful buildings, spaces, objects, and images.
