    About the Author

    Christophe Jacrot is a French director and photographer known for his poetic depictions of rain, snow and winter landscapes. After a successful career in film, he turned to photography and created impressive series such as Paris sous la pluie and Snjór, which show urban and natural scenes in weather extremes. Jacrot's work, which is often compared to American street photographers and Japanese artists, has been exhibited and celebrated worldwide. He regularly collaborates with the Galerie de l'Europe in Paris.
