    Full Description

For their video trilogy Processions, Ben Greber and Bram Kuypers journeyed to the decommissioned test tracks of the Transrapid magnetic suspension railway, the French hovertrain Aérotrain and Elon Musk’s Hyperloop concept. The exploration of their tracks depict a modern landscape, the Anthropocene landscape, indelibly marked by the infrastructural needs of humankind. The ritualistic theme of procession is symbolic of hope in technical advancement—a hope that was never fulfilled in any of these three projects. The book documents the work Processions, showing accompanying sculptures, installations, performances, and graphics and is complemented by several texts on the subject that further deepen this artistic exploration.

    Text in English and German.
