    About the Author

    Helen Hillyard is the Curator at Dulwich Picture Gallery. She has previously worked in the curatorial departments at the National Gallery, London, and Birmingham Museums, and studied at the University of Cambridge and the Courtauld Institute of Art. Jennifer Scott is the Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery. She was previously Director of the Holburne Museum, Bath, having previously worked as Curator of Paintings at Royal Collection Trust.
